Abstract :
An alternative to the point scattering model approach for simulating reverberation is discussed. Reverberation is synthesized by passing a vector white noise process through a multichannel IIR (infinite-impulse response) filter whose time-varying transfer function matches the time-evolving spectral characteristics of the expected auto and cross range-Doppler maps
