Some challenging issues arising in the design of communication antennas - Large and small

The purpose of this paper is to discuss some challenging problems that we typically face when designing communication antennas, whether they are large or small. We illustrate these problems by considering consider some real-world examples, which we have come across recently when designing communication antennas, belonging to both large and small categories.
