Abstract :
Four utility-based criteria are considered to study dynamic resource allocation in Multiple Input Multiple Output - Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (MIMO-OFDMA) multiuser cellular systems. In these criteria, two generalized bargaining strategies, GNBS and KSBS, are used to emphasize different levels of user fairness, while the criteria of utilitarian and egalitarian are briefly discussed. Specifically, we will investigate the resource allocation within one cell, satisfying transmit power constraint, minimum data-rate requirement, and certain BER level. For practical power and subcarrier allocation, low-complexity implementations are proposed based on the bargaining solutions and system optimality. In addition, the generalized bargaining power can be explored to adjust datarate distribution of users through GNBS/KSBS fairness, which is the desired property of diverse quality-of-service systems.
