Abstract
The H2/H∞ state estimation problem for nonlinear time invariant systems with nonlinear observation is considered. A new synthesis procedure is presented, based on linearized error dynamics, for designing a nonlinear H2/H∞ state estimator. The proof for the robust convergence and performance of the linearized error dynamics is provided. This paper provides a new approach for the problem of nonlinear state estimation with guaranteed global local asymptotic convergence and performance
