Abstract
The principles about navigation and positioning for probes in the deep-space exploration with VLBI and USB technologies are studied. Then, the effect of the Martian ionosphere and neutral atmosphere on VLBI and USB observations is analyzed. At last, the magnitude of the effect is calculated.
