Abstract :
On the basis of the datum of laminar cooling, rough control on laminar cooling process is brought forward. By the rough set theory, the decision-making table, which includes the diagnostic state and the corresponding control strategy of operator in the laminar cooling control of hot rolling, is reduced. And the rough control rules on the laminar cooling are get. The simulation shows the rules can apply on the laminar cooling control, and the application of the rough set can get fast the feed-forward control number of water section (number of water valve) in the laminar cooling.
