Abstract
Channel models used for analysis of narrowband systems are inadequate for Ultra-wideband (UWB) systems. In addition, the combination of UWB signals with multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) technology increase the necessity of developing new channel models appropriate for wideband transmissions. In this paper we determine a new channel transfer function (CTF) for UWB channels and using this expression we calculate the space-time-frequency cross-correlation function (CCF) for a MIMO multicarrier channel. Through simulation we present the influence of the antenna propagation patterns (APPs) and how frequency selectivity affects the CCF.
