Semantic approach in the information systems

The information systems gain more and more importance in the organizations and become critical issues of organizational adaptation. Many technical solutions are proposed to exchange the data and to integrate the different heterogeneous components. The next generation must be based on a semantic layer to manage knowledge rather than data and to allow the rational cognitive agents to achieve their goals.
