Abstract :
A method to enhance transient signals in noise is outlined. The method is a two-step procedure to remove out-of-band noise and then to remove in-band noise. The out-of-band noise is removed by conventional filtering. The in-band noise is removed by an unconventional data adaptive filter that utilizes eigenanalysis techniques
