Abstract :
An attempt was made to optimize the performance of 3D-MINIMOS on a SIEMENS/Fujitsu VP 200. Jacobi and incomplete LU-factorization methods were investigated along with various hand tuning options. Results are compared with those obtained on a Cray-2 and an ALLIANT/FX40 minisupercomputer
