Abstract :
The resonant switched capacitor (RSC) converter is a new topology of switched capacitor converter. In this paper, the steady-state analysis of RSC converter focused on the influence of circuit parasitic parameters and operating condition. The expressions of the average output voltage and efficiency, which included the parasitic parameters, were derived for the first time. In addition, the relationship between the switching frequency and output voltage provided a means of regulating the output voltage. A step-down mode RSC converter was used as an example to describe the equation derivation. Experimental results on a 12 V/5 V/2.5 A RSC prototype are found to be nearly in accordance with the theoretical results
