Abstract :
This paper discussed and analyzed the sand dust weather from March 19 to 22, 2010. Based on PM10 mass concentration levels computed from the Air Pollution Index (API) , the system clustering method was used to classify 86 cities of China into 8 subregions. For understanding the influence of the sand dust weather to the city air quality, temporal variation and spatial distribution of PM10 concentration in March are discussed. It shows that synoptic condition play an important role on the city air quality.
