Abstract :
Wuhan city is the core city of Wuhan city circle and the major city of the Yangtze River, and the change of water have attracted great attention. Using the techniques of "3S" and landscape ecology, based on 1991 and 2009 Landast TM remote sensing image, integrating with the change of water modeling, transform matrix, the shift of gravity centers and landscape pattern analysis software Fragstats3.3, the water dynamic changes of structure and spatial characteristics in Wuhan city are studied during the 19 years. All these provided some reference for reasonable utilization and protection water and realization the regional sustainable development. The main results show that: From 1991 to 2009 ,under the influence of population, socio-economic, policy and so on, the area of water has a sharp drop, the reduce of water is significant different in every administrative region, the change of water is particular in East-Western lake and Caidian, the conversion between farmland and water and water to construction land are obvious, the gravity centers of water have shifted obviously in Caidian and Xinzhou, the feature of landscape elements is significant different and the water area will continue to decrease largely.
