Abstract :
Application independent capacity of a multisensor cellular network is found. Taking one step further towards practical utilization of the result it is shown that the adaptive minimum mean squared error (MMSE) receivers efficiently use cellular network capacity. In CDMA multisensor systems over channels with severe multipath, signatures are being randomized by the channel influence. Maximum number of users in a code division multiple access (CDMA) system with random signatures and adaptive multisensor MMSE receivers is obtained. It is shown that the adaptive MMSE receivers efficiently use channel capacity even if the signature sequences are randomly chosen
