Abstract :
Broadband partially adaptive beamformers are designed by determining a transformation which maps the fully adaptive weight space into a partially adaptive weight space so that the output interference power is minimized over a set of assumed interference scenarios. An analytic technique for designing the transformation is derived using an approximation to simplify the problem. Simulations illustrate the utility of the approach.
