Abstract :
This paper investigates the mechanism and characteristics of electric conduction in contact zone of tool and workpiece in electric hot drilling, meanwhile it brings forward a physical model of electric conduction in contact zone of tool and workpiece, the dynamic characteristics of heat current loop is analyzed and the electrophysics phenomenon is discussed in electric hot drilling, this paper puts forward a kind of PC-based automatic control system, which can obviously solve the key problem of auto-adjusting of heating parameters and eliminating electric arc in electric hot drilling. It is significant to improve the heating effectiveness and gain better machined surface quality by using the above system.
