Abstract
High background noise of action potentials in extracellular recordings has been one of the major obstacles to reliable detection of action potentials. In this paper, we propose a novel detection algorithm aimed at high background noise environments using multi-scale product and multi-resolution analysis. A new detector provides considerable improvements on real data
