Abstract :
This paper proposes three topologies of drive systems to supply independently two induction machines. A commercial three-leg inverter connected to a photovoltaic energy source have been used to supply both motors. The proposed two-motor drive systems are seen as a potentially viable solution for remote applications requiring one high-power (three-phase machine) and one low-power machine (single-phase machine). All the proposed solutions have less power devices than the typical solution.
