  • Abstract
    A new multi-view model based on UML is proposed in this paper, that is "6 +1" view model. The model describes the architecture of a system from seven perspectives which contains scenario, concept view, framework view, data view, process view, component view and deployment view. And the model is applied to describe the architecture of the steel base management system to verify its feasibility and usability. The practice indicates that the new multi-view model is an efficient and effective method in object-oriented modeling.
