Abstract :
In this paper, PCB planar transformer is introduced. Based on the physical structure, a new model of this kind of planar transformer is presented. The formula to calculate the parameters of the elements in the model is given. Simulating and experimental results validate the model and the calculation methods. Based on these results, the optimization design methods are introduced to reduce the bad influence from the parasitic elements. At last the shortage of this model is analyzed
