Abstract :
This study studies the chaos phenomenon in current mode controlled flyback converter. The primary side magnetizing inductance current of a transformer during the conversion operation is considered in continuous-conduction mode (CCM). The nonlinear behaviors of system operation from period-1 to doubling-bifurcation and to chaos is studied by varying the input voltage in one case and by varying the load resistance in another case of the converter. MATLAB/SIMULINK software is used to simulate the nonlinear behaviors of the converter.
