  • Abstract
In this paper a new high-resolution method is presented for direction finding in the presence of multipath. The new method, called coherent wide-band modified forward-backward linear prediction (CWB-MFBLP), is based on the idea of the frequency-domain smoothing [1] to remove the singularity of the correlation matrix of the completely correlated signals. Simulation results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the new method, and a discussion and comparison of the frequency-domain smoothing approach and spatial smoothing is also included.
