  • Abstract
A new approach to Analog Hardware Design Languages (AHDL) is presented. This is based on the system semantics principle. This principle allows one to define a language that provides a unified syntax to describe the different aspects of an Op-Amp. This is possible because the basic components of an Op-Amp are adirectional systems. These components are described by combinators. A set of semantic functions are applied to these combinators to give them meaning
