Abstract :
This paper presents a new electronically tunable current-mode universal biquadratic filter with three inputs and single output employing only a single current-controlled current follower transconductance amplifier (CCCFTA) and two grounded capacitors. The proposed filter provides following advantages: low number of active and passive components; realization of low-pass, band-pass, high-pass, band-stop and all-pass current responses; employment of grounded capacitors; no requirement with the component-matching conditions and the inverting-type input signals to realize specific filtering; electronic control of the natural frequency and low active and passive sensitivities. Simulation results using PSPICE are given to confirm the presented theory.
