Abstract :
The paper is concerned with the multiple source location problem. The properties of maximum-likelihood estimates of unknown source parameters are investigated by extensive numerical experiments. Especially the mutual influence of the estimates of closely spaced signals is examined. The accuracy of the estimates is compared with Cramer-Rao lower bounds. The possiblity of predicting the median deviation of the estimates by Cramer-Rao lower bounds is investigated.
