Abstract :
Recently, the improvement of diagnosis techniques of electric power equipment with increasing of demand for energy and high electric power is necessarily. This paper describes that test of very low frequency (VLF) Tanδ performed on cable samples of Medium Voltage (MV) class. The paper shows that tanδ measurements using the weibull distribution are properly diagnostic techniques in condition assessment of insulation.
