  • Abstract
In this paper we have analysed the design approach of the antenna system for a specific application in which the airborne system goes on continuous spinning and gradual change in its inclination. To solve the problem, we have designed and configured various airborne antennas with appropriate schemes to produce omni directional radiation coverage in the roll plane. Each of these antenna schemes has been experimented and discussed critically to arrive at the final airborne antenna configuration. In addition, a circularly polarized ground antenna with wide directional radiation beam has been designed and developed for carrying out effective communication between the airborne system and the ground telemetry station.
