Abstract :
The wave transmission characteristics of double trapezoida-ridge rectangular waveguide are analyzed by using the vector finite-element method. The cutoff wavelength of trapezoida-ridge waveguide and anti-trapezoid ridge waveguide which ridges are on the waveguide short side are calculated respectively. The results show that the ridge position on the short side of waveguide may shrink sing-mode bandwidth. The variation of bandwidth with physical dimensions has been studied. It is helpful for optimizing this kind of structure.
