Abstract :
In this paper a new method based on the complex images concept has been presented for the first time that can efficiently approximate the periodic Greenpsilas function in layered media. This approximation leads to a closed-form representation for the Greenpsilas function that is very useful in analyzing the periodic structures such as frequency selective surfaces and meta-materials using the integral equations. Accuracy of the results obtained by the proposed method is shown by comparing with other numerical methods.
