  • Abstract
    A novel model of permanent magnetic double-phase linear stepper motor has been presented and the numerical computation model of magnetic field for the linear stepper motor has been established. Moreover, the dynamic variations of magnetic field varying with the current cycle during the whole moving process have been numerically simulated using the finite element method. Furthermore, influences of different considerations, such as, the effect of the variation of air-gap, permanent magnetic materials and maximum current density, magnetic field and electromagnetic force on the mover have been computed, compared and analyzed
