Abstract :
We describe a compact pulsed optical parametric oscillator based upon room- temperature MgO:PPLN operating internal to a Q-switched Nd:YVO4 mini-laser. Repetition rates of >300 kHz were achieved at 150 mW mean tuneable mid-infrared output power for 3 W pump.
