Abstract :
The analytic hierarchy process(AHP) developed by Saaty (1980) has received much attention, as a useful evaluation technique in multiple-criteria decision-making. From the theoretical standpoint, however, a few weak points are noted. Among them are, (i) the problem to harmonize consistency, (ii) the redundancy of pairwise comparison results. This paper presents a new decision-making technique, resolving those problems. To accomplish this, the isomorphism technique between an additive-type pairwise comparison matrix and a product-type pairwise comparison matrix and the “forced consistency” technique are well-utilized in this paper
