Abstract
Analysis of induction motor for small perturbation around its operating point is possible using the linearized equations. Features of a linear system of equations can be employed for designing the relevant controllers based on the transfer functions and roots of the characteristic equations. In this paper considers the non linear equations of induction motor are linearized for small perturbation around the operating point and the resultant state equations are then used to simulate the performance of induction motors with different ratings.
