Abstract
Based on the power electronic system integration, a novel conceptive sensor-integrated module was suggested in this paper, which is capable of detecting motor voltages and currents, rotor position and speed, fluxes and torque. Moreover, the principle of rotor position self-sensing based on saliency-tracking technology was discussed and the experimental investigation manifests that the proposed saliency-tracking scheme could be used in the whole speed region, including zero speed, to estimate the rotor position precisely, and implement the integration of the position/speed sensor combined with the motor. The hardware structure and inside functions of the conceptive sensor module were designed, which can be combined with other integrated power electronic modules to form a high performance power electronic drive system conveniently, compactly and extendably.
