Abstract :
Micro-fluidic VCSELs are fabricated using a novel fluidic channel structure with etched trenches and fluid reservoirs surrounding each VCSEL. Pulsed and continuous wave measurements demonstrated a fluid induced lasing wavelength shift of 0.3 nm.
