  • Abstract
It is of practical significance and great value to find out a service-oriented modeling technique for integration of oil-drilling engineering applications deployed on grid sites. In this paper, a domain-specific model for oil-drilling engineering is suggested. Furthermore, a business component model for mapping domain-specific model into real system is proposed. Two models contribute the decoupling of business process and identification of business components, and offer the benefits of extensibility, modularity, and reusability. Finally, a real case, simulation system of oil-drilling engineering, shows the modeling techniques is practical to integrate domain-specific software.
