Abstract :
Optical characterization and sensitivity evaluation of an all-dielectric photonic crystal based guided resonance filter sensitive to index-of-refraction changes in aqueous solutions is presented. Measured quality factor values (Q=83, 181) correspond to detectable index-change of 2times10-3.
