Abstract :
Taking the geological condition in the East of Daye Open Cut Iron mining area as background, the characteristics of petrofabric, structural plane and structural body were deeply analyzed. It provided evaluation evidences for the engineering geological properties of slope rock mass. Firstly, the petrofabric of East Open Cut Slope was divided into 6 groups, and the characteristics of petrofabric were introduced in terms of main lithology of the petrofabric, properties of weathering resistance, rock fragment strength and other properties separately. Secondly, there developed a series of complicated faults and joint structure in stope rock mass, the structural characteristics of fault zone F9, F25, F13, F10, F11, F12, the occurrence, density, mechanical properties, filling material of regional joints J1~9, and the influence of joints J1~9 to the slope stability were analyzed. Finally, rock mass structural of East Open Cut Slope can be divided into 5 species, namely block structure, layered structure, layered joint structure, cataclastic structure and granular structure, and the petrofabric, characteristics of structural plane, characteristics of structural body, forms of deformation failure of each rock mass structure were introduced respectively.
