Abstract :
The change of residual stress before and after magnetic treatment in the hard aluminum alloy LY12 after the cold plastic forming is studied by comparative experiments using ultrasonic flaw detection instrument. The residual stress state analysis in the component indicate that: strong alternating magnetic treatment can reduce the residual stress in the component organization. The magnetic stress field and the corresponding magnetic residual stress field are simulated using the numerical analysis method through coupled field theory. The magnetic vibration caused by magnetic stress field is considerably visible due to the harmonic magnetic field effect, and the internal residual stress is regular changed after magnetic treatment. The numerical simulation contours intuitively show the distributions of magnetic stress field and residual stress field in components.
