Abstract :
The question of automated monitoring system development for ball mill fill degree is considered. This system is implemented with the help of National Instruments hardware and software and applied in real technological process of ore reduction at JSC Stoilensky ore mining and processing plant. The proposed system allows to detect the mill fill level changing faster (averagely 5-6 minutes in advance) and with 2-3 times higher sensitivity in comparison with mill operator making estimations based on several factors. The experimental results support the assumption of the proposed method efficiency.
