            Abstract : 
Thermo-optical compensation in high-index contrast waveguide system (a-Si on SiO2) is reported using different cladding materials. We experimentally demonstrate the thermo-optically compensated a-Si based racetrack ring resonators with an acrylate polymer cladding.
