Abstract :
With the development of smart grid, more and more intelligent sensors are used in it to monitor the states of grid. However, the energy for wireless intelligent sensors is a hard problem. Among all kinds of approach, such as solar energy, wind energy and battery, etc, power source based-on current transducer (CT) is a good method to provide energy for on-line wireless intelligent sensors without external power supply. This paper gives an analysis for the conversion and present the basic circuit, simulation and experiment results. By means of special energy-extracting coil, coupling inductor, filter and voltage stabilizing circuit, a voltage of 5V could output steadily. Simulation and testing results indicate that this power supply can maintain a steady output from several to one thousand of Ampere.
