Abstract :
An up-to-date floater liquidometer based on Hall Effect is presented in this paper. It specially fits for the application of the area of petrochemical engineering where a non-contact floater liquidometer is the best choice. By using sensor constructed by Hall switch component and 74HC165 8-bit parallel in/serial output shift register matrix, transmitter constructed by AT89C2051 MCU and 4~20mA industrial general current signal transmission and secondary instrument constructed by ICL7135 A/D, AT89C52 MCU and 74HC164 group, the liquidometer is safe, steady, accurate and low-cost to measure, transmit and display every certain liquid level datum with 5 mm resolution.
