Abstract :
A direct application of the classical theory of reconstruction does not allow for attenuation or any other kind of distortion that one might expect in a practical situation. Here, we examine a method of deriving the density distribution when the corresponding projection functions are obtained in the presense of noise, attenuation, or errors introduced due to the characteristics of the data collecting device.
