Abstract :
The paper outlines the historical development, current status and research trends of acoustic emission technology which has found application in the study of basic properties of concrete materials, basic mechanics, Kaiser effect and Felicity effect of concrete as well as fracture mechanics and concrete fatigue and deterioration. Some existing problems are further analyzed, showing the future research trends and prospect of this technology.
