Abstract :
In this paper, an active power filter module is described. The filter module is used for conditioning line current of a six-pulse static power converter. The proposed module performs two simultaneous duties: it minimizes the supply line current harmonics, generated by the power converter, and compensates the reactive fundamental component of the line current. Line current waveforms depicted when using the proposed active filter conditioning proved the effectiveness of the proposed module
