Abstract :
The combination of a Σ-Δ modulator-based FIR filter and a low-Q biquad has been shown to be an effective way of implementing linear-phase filters in analog form. A remaining problem of large integrating capacitors due to both oversampling and a large number of FIR filter taps is solved here with a capacitor-area efficient implementation, without heavy penalties of increased offset and noise
