Research and Development of Visual Inspection Device of Metal Aerosol Can Cover

Metal aerosol can is a part of the package of metal container, our country is very strong in equipment of metal container manufacturing industry. But the quality of aerosol cans varies considerably, and the cover quality inspection process is still done by human beings. This paper analyzed the quality of aerosol cans in detail, and start from the cover, developed an automatic detection device for the quality of aerosol cans which has the functions of surface defects, size measurement, and test for sealant and so on. The device is connected with the cover production line, which can test the quality timely on line.
