Abstract :
In our previous work, we proposed an enhanced iterative scheme for the piezoelectric material parameter identification based on finite element simulation and measurements of the electrical impedance. We extended the scheme and allow now for the identification of further material parameters of a transducer assembly. Here, the scheme is first applied to a single piezoceramic disc. The results of the identification process are verified by a comparison between measurements and simulation of the surface velocity of the disc. In a second step, the updated material parameters are used as initial values for further material parameter identification of a transducer, at which the piezoceramic disc is combined with two matching layers. Sound field measurements are compared in addition to simulations for verification of the material parameters.
