Abstract
This paper presents an ultra-low-power low-noise bioamplifier for neural recording applications. The bioamplifier manifests a supply insensitive first gain stage and a CMOS-inverter-based second gain stage. The entire system is designed in 0.13-μm standard RF CMOS process. The bioamplifier operates at 0.6 V supply with a power consumption of only 198.6 nW. The midband gain of the amplifier is 24.94 dB with a lower cut-off frequency at 0.1 Hz and a higher cut-off frequency at 9.51 KHz. The input-referred noise of the proposed bioamplifier is 0.9133 μVrms.
